Beginner Starterpack
The female Spiny Leaf Insect is a gentle creature that feeds on gum leaves. They are non-aggressive and do not bite.
They can grow to an adult length of up to 20cm with the right conditions. Not all grow to this length, but if given the right environment and food, it is possible.
Typically, they can live up to 1 year and if a male is present, the female can lay up to 7 eggs a day.
Amateur Starterpack
The male Spiny Leaf Insect is a gentle creature that feeds on gum leaves. They are non-aggressive and do not bite.
They can grow to an adult length of up to 11cm with the right conditions. Not all grow to this length, but if given the right environment and food, it is possible.
Typically, they can live up to 6-8 months and if a female is present, the female can lay up to 7 eggs a day with the help of the male.
Garden of Eden Starterpack
The Spiny Leaf Insect eggs are very small in size but they hold quite a big insect inside of them.
The average time for one of these small eggs to hatch is between 2 and 14 months.
The insects are very energetic when they first come out of the eggs and they need to immediately be put into a separate enclosure from the bigger stick insects.
Delivery Details
Shipping
The insect packs are shipped via Express Post straight to your door. We ship on the next business day after the order is received, but avoid weekend shipping to reduce transit time.
Delivery Date
The shipment should be delivered two days after ordering, and will arrive via Express Post. If you order on a Thursday or Friday, we wont ship until Monday to avoid the weekend delay.
Packaging
Our stick insects are comfortably packaged in an enclosure with breathing holes and gum leaves. The enclosure is secured to keep the insect(s) safe on their journey.
